For Participant Plan to Travel to Japan

Due to the covid 19 pandemic situation, additional documents and procedures are required to visit Japan. Please look at the below to know more information about visiting Japan.

 

 

Basic procedure to come to ICAA18 onsite.

  • Confirm whether you can come to Japan for business purposes at the embassy close by.

*Only business purposes would be accepted in the covid 19 situation.  (Updated on April 28, 2022)

 

Exemption from the quarantine

The quarantine period may be bypassed if the traveller/participant shot the covid 19 vaccine three times before coming to Japan

There would be a PCR test and 3-7 days of quarantine when the traveller/participant took the vaccine less than 3 times.

We are very greatful to host the ICAA18 held in Toyama, Japan, 4-8th September 2022.
 
We will be delighted to welcome scientists from academia and industry to exchange through discussions on the science and application of Aluminium Alloys. The coastal city of Toyama, with its scenic natural environment, will provide the ideal location to host our conference. We hope that ICAA18 will allow participants from all over the world to get to know and inspire each other,and to encourage young researchers and students who will lead the future of aluminium.
